was down to canal the other night just for an hour not been fishing for ages and it was realy quite no bites at all. After about 45 mins my float went under i was thinking i got caught in weed it was a heavy pull managed to get it on it was a nice roach just under a pound in weight i thought that was big for the canal not heard of much big fish getting caught.

my wee bro andrew got a bit annoyed with me catching 2 fish so he moved well away from me and managed to catch 2 small fish a roach and a perch my dad popped down to pick me up and stole a shot of my rod and caught a fish a nice gudgeon it looked like it would have been close to the scottish record over all brilliant day

eliburn was realy good would recomend it to anyone. we were there from about 10:30 till about 5pm caught 4 fish a nice roach just over a pound and 2 gudgeon but one was big and we got a small roach and a small perch. We seen loads of carp and bream hanging about the surface. I am definatly going to be going back again asap. But i will take the pole with me there was a lot of people catching carp on the pole.

whent along the canal for a bit last night even with the light rain we managed to catch a few fish. A nice little perch and 2 nice roach. got a new 5m pole today so going to try and get out over the next few nights to try it out.

was at the canal for a short time caught 3 roach and my boy caught a roach and perch the canal seems to be fun fishing if using a pole rig get a lot more bites

my wee bro lost a nice roach due to the hook not tied right i suppose thats what happens when you buy ready tied rigs. loads of bites and activity last night we went about 8 last night fished untill 9:20
